Security Engineer - Glasgow (Hybrid) – Permanent - £65,000 plus benefits
Change Digital are recruiting on behalf of our Glasgow based client an experienced Information Security professional looking to influence security strategy, architecture, and technology across a complex enterprise environment.
We're seeking an Information Security Engineer to act as a trusted security advisor, partnering with Architecture, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Cyber teams to ensure security is embedded into projects, platforms, and business change initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing security consultancy across technology projects and change programmes.
- Conducting security design reviews, risk assessments, and assurance activities.
- Leading security assurance across Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Driving compliance with recognised security standards and best practices.
- Supporting security testing, monitoring, and incident detection capabilities.
- Contributing to the development of security architecture, controls, and strategy.
- Advising on emerging technologies, including AI and cloud security.

What We're Looking For
- Strong background in Information Security or Cyber Security.
- Hands-on experience with Azure, Microsoft 365 Security, Defender, and Conditional Access.
- Knowledge of SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, and security frameworks.
- Experience conducting risk assessments and technical security reviews.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
