Ideal candidates for this program should possess a strong interest in technology and cybersecurity. While prior experience in IT or networking is beneficial, it is not mandatory. Candidates should have a basic understanding of computer systems and networks, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude are essential. Candidates should also be committed to completing the intensive training program and obtaining the required certifications. A minimum educational qualification of high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for individuals with some background in IT or related fields.
Responsibilities
Participants in the program will be responsible for actively engaging in all training modules, including live sessions, practical labs, and project work. They will develop skills in troubleshooting, network security, cloud security (Azure), SIEM tools like Splunk, and vulnerability management using Tenable. Participants will collaborate with peers and instructors to solve real-world security challenges, participate in simulated cyber attack scenarios, and complete hands-on exercises that reinforce learning. Additionally, they will work on capstone projects that demonstrate their ability to apply cybersecurity principles in practical settings. Upon completion of the program, participants are expected to leverage their new skills and certifications to secure employment in cyber security roles, contributing effectively to organizational security teams.
