Help us create a better future, quicker

At ScottishPower, we’re looking for a Cyber Security and Business Continuity professional to join our team and help strengthen how we protect our systems, data, and operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll support the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of cyber security and business continuity across the Customer Business. Working alongside a team of experienced security professionals, you’ll play a key part in keeping our operations secure, resilient, and aligned with industry standards.

  • Involved in everything from incident identification and response through to risk management, third-party assurance, and recovery planning.
  • Reviewing how we currently work, identifying where we can improve, and helping to implement changes that make a real difference to our overall security posture.
  • Collaborate with teams across the wider Iberdrola Group, as well as external partners, giving you exposure to a global cyber function and the opportunity to contribute to wider strategic initiatives.
  • Stay close to day-to-day operations, helping ensure our services are delivered effectively and consistently.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone with a background in cyber security and/or business continuity within an IT environment, ideally with experience across monitoring, incident response, or service delivery.

  • Knowledge of frameworks like ISO 27001 or 22301 is helpful.
  • Experience with tools such as SIEM, SOAR, XDR or vulnerability management would be an advantage.
  • Confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels, able to translate technical risks into clear, practical insights.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery will be key to success.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
