We are looking for a sharp, proactive, and autonomous Remote Cyber Security & Infrastructure Officer to act as the ultimate shield for our hosting infrastructure.
If you have a passion for hardening servers, implementing airtight backup solutions, and proactively hunting down vulnerabilities across distributed systems from anywhere in the world, we want you on our team!
🚀 What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities):
- Infrastructure Hardening: Secure, audit, and continuously monitor our web hosting servers, panels, and deployment environments against unauthorized access.
- Vulnerability Management: Proactively identify infrastructure weak points, conduct routine vulnerability scans, and implement robust firewall policies and IP whitelisting protocols.
- Incident Response & Monitoring: Use advanced monitoring tools to keep a hawk-eye on network traffic, instantly mitigating security breaches or DDoS attempts.
- Backup & Resilience Assurance: Collaborate on maintaining automated, bulletproof backup engines and disaster recovery protocols to ensure absolute data integrity.
- Compliance & Access Control: Enforce strict identity and access management (IAM) policies to ensure maximum security across all administrative access points.

🛠️ What We’re Looking For (Requirements):
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in Cyber Security, Systems Administration, or DevOps roles (hosting industry experience is a major plus).
- Linux Expertise: Strong background in Linux server administration, security protocols, and hosting management interfaces.
- Security Mindset: In-depth knowledge of firewalls, server hardening techniques, SSL/TLS configurations, and secure backup strategies.
- Certifications: Credentials like CompTIA Security+, CEH, or practical equivalent experience are highly valued.
- Remote Fluency: Excellent asynchronous communication skills, high self-motivation, and the ability to thrive in a 100% remote setting.
