Location: Near Reading (Hybrid: 4 days on-site, 1 day remote, Mon–Fri).
Clearance & Eligibility:
- DV Security Clearance required
- Must have lived in the UK for 10+ years to obtain clearance.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Cyber Security Operations Specialist within the Security Operations Centre (SOC), you’ll:
- Respond to immediate, complex cyber threats.
- Operate in a fast-paced SOC environment.
- Create and continuously improve procedures.
- Triage alerts and incidents.
- Collaborate to detect, analyse, and respond to threats using cutting-edge technology and processes.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Threat Hunting
- Customer Relationship Management
- Cyber Threat Intelligence
- Incident Response
- Strong decision-making
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Operational security experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on knowledge of:
- Security management, network security, information security, and people security.
- Running SOC services.
- 1+ years in IT/network-based security roles.
- Certifications from this list:
- CompTIA Network+, Security+, CSA+, or CEH
- Experience in customer-facing environments.
