Cyber Security Operations Product Lead
💰 £400 per day (Inside IR35) | 📍 Reading, UK (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)
📅 6 Month Contract
We're looking for an experienced Cyber Security Operations Product Lead to oversee the delivery of enterprise cyber security services within a complex, business-critical environment. As the Cyber Security Operations Product Lead, you'll provide technical oversight across security operations, incident management, and service delivery, ensuring security services are delivered efficiently, aligned to best practice, and meet business and regulatory requirements. Working closely with security operations, SOC, engineering, engagement, and client stakeholders, you'll manage operational demand, service quality, governance, and continual service improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight and assurance across security operations teams
- Review operational security activities to ensure best practice and service excellence
- Coordinate major cyber incidents and crisis management activities
- Produce executive reports for business and senior leadership
- Manage security service demand, prioritisation, and service backlogs
- Coordinate onboarding of new security services and client requests
- Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and overall service delivery performance
- Analyse service demand trends and support capacity planning
- Maintain security service catalogue and operational procedures
- Drive continual improvement across security products and operational services
- Manage stakeholder communications and service escalations
- Support administration of service management tools and platforms

Essential Skills
- 5+ years leading Cyber Security Operations or Security Service Delivery
- Enterprise or Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience
- Security Incident & Crisis Management
- Security Operations governance
- IT Service Management
- Service Delivery & Operational Management
- Strong understanding of security operations best practices
- Experience with ITSM / ticketing platforms
- KPI reporting and service metrics
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Desirable Skills
- ITIL Foundation
- CISSP, GIAC GCFA or equivalent
- Information Security Operations
- Capacity planning
- Agile delivery
- Resource management
- Continuous Service Improvement (CSI)
