Cyber Security Sales Specialist

Hybrid working - Must be able to get to Wokingham at least 2 days per week!

The Role

This is a new business-focused cyber security sales role, responsible for driving revenue growth across a defined region. You’ll engage mid-market and enterprise customers, positioning a broad IT and security portfolio to address evolving business risks and digital transformation needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and win new business opportunities across cybersecurity and wider IT solutions
  • Build and maintain a consistent, high-quality sales pipeline
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Develop strong customer relationships at multiple stakeholder levels
  • Work closely with internal teams to create and execute effective sales campaigns
  • Deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and solution positioning
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting using CRM systems
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging security challenges

Essential

  • 3–5 years’ experience in IT or cybersecurity sales
  • Demonstrable record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong new business development (hunter) mindset
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Full UK driving licence

Advantageous

  • Experience selling across broader IT solutions (cloud, workplace, managed services, etc.)
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Knowledge of client computing or infrastructure technologies
