Cyber Security Account Manager

Location: Reading (Hybrid – 2 days per week)
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission

About the Company

We're working with an established UK Managed Service Provider that's continuing to invest heavily in the growth of its Cyber Security division. With a strong customer base, dedicated SDR support and leading vendor partnerships, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business where you'll inherit opportunities while still having the autonomy to win new business.

The Role

Whilst the title is Cyber Security Account Manager, this is very much a new business-focused role. You'll be expected to identify and win new cyber security opportunities across an assigned customer base, whilst also generating your own pipeline. This is ideal for someone with a hunter mentality who enjoys opening doors, closing new business and then growing those accounts over time.

Working closely with Account Managers, SDRs and vendor partners, you'll manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close, becoming the trusted cyber security advisor for the customers you win.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
