Cyber risk is accelerating — and so are we. As part of a significant long term investment in our UK Cyber proposition, we’re looking for an experienced Cyber Senior Underwriter to play a key role in growing and shaping a high quality, profitable book through to 2030.

The role:
Reporting to the Cyber Team Leader, you’ll be a senior member of a dedicated cyber unit underwriting both new business and renewals across open market and e‑trade platforms.
You’ll play a key role in supporting growth while maintaining underwriting discipline, acting as a referral point to colleagues and helping develop cyber capability across the team.
Key responsibilities include:
Underwriting and negotiating new business and renewal cyber risks within authority Managing key renewal accounts with a focus on profitable retention Building and strengthening trading relationships with broker partners, positioning us as a preferred cyber market Acting as a technical referral point and supporting the development of underwriters within the team Reviewing broker‑generated quotes and articulating product value to secure placements Managing workflow through internal underwriting and e‑trade platforms (e.g. Acturis)

About you:
You’ll be an experienced cyber underwriter who enjoys combining technical underwriting with broker engagement and commercial decision‑making.
You’ll bring:
At least 3 years’ experience underwriting cyber insurance (preferable) Proven experience across both new business and renewals Strong broker and market relationships Confidence handling referrals and supporting less experienced underwriters Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach Experience using e‑trade platforms (Acturis desirable, not essential)
