Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst

Permanent | Hybrid (1 day per week in office)

Bestman Solutions is supporting a growing cyber security consultancy looking to appoint a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to join its expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys understanding how cyber threats evolve and wants to build a long-term career in threat intelligence. You'll work alongside experienced security professionals, receive direct mentorship from a senior cyber expert with over two decades of industry experience, and have the opportunity to broaden your technical skills, including exposure to software development and automation.

The Role

You'll be responsible for researching, analysing and communicating emerging cyber threats, helping clients understand the risks that matter most and supporting proactive security decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Research and analyse emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities and attack techniques.
  • Monitor threat actor activity and developments across the cyber threat landscape.
  • Produce clear, actionable threat intelligence reports and briefings.
  • Support incident response activities by providing threat intelligence and context during security incidents.
  • Work closely with internal security teams to improve detection and response capabilities.
  • Share intelligence findings to help strengthen client security awareness and resilience.
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of threat intelligence processes, tooling and methodologies.
  • Develop your technical capability through ongoing mentoring and training opportunities.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence or a similar cyber security role.
  • Good understanding of modern cyber threats, attack techniques and the wider threat landscape.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills.
  • Excellent written communication with the ability to explain technical findings clearly.
  • Someone who enjoys learning, solving problems and continuously developing their skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to support the wider team.
