Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst
Junior Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Analyst
About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Analyst to support a growing intelligence function within an enterprise security team. Working alongside senior analysts, you will:
- Collect, analyse, and contextualise threat data
- Map adversary behaviour to MITRE ATT&CK
- Track indicators, tactics, and IOCs, translating raw data into actionable intelligence for technical and business stakeholders
This role is ideal for someone early in their CTI career who is curious, detail-oriented, and keen to develop both analytical skills and automation expertise across a modular threat intelligence toolstack.
Key Responsibilities
Intelligence Collection & Analysis
- Gather threat data from internal platforms, OSINT sources, and commercial intelligence feeds
- Assess relevance and reliability of collected intelligence
- Map adversary TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures) to the MITRE ATT&CK framework
Indicator & Threat Tracking
- Monitor IOCs (Indicators of Compromise), threat actors, campaigns, and emerging vulnerabilities
- Maintain accurate, structured records in the team’s intelligence platform(s)
Reporting & Communication
- Produce clear, concise intelligence reports, alerts, summaries, and stakeholder briefings
- Tailor communications for technical and non-technical audiences
- Support senior analysts in in-depth threat assessments and ad-hoc requests

Tooling & Automation
- Assist in developing lightweight automations and integrations to streamline workflows
- Ensure feeds, enrichments, and platform configurations remain reliable and efficient
Collaboration & Professional Growth
- Collaborate with SecOps, incident response, and vulnerability management teams
- Continuously refine tradecraft—learning analysis frameworks, sources, and structured techniques under senior guidance
Tools & Technologies
- Frameworks: Primarily MITRE ATT&CK
- CTI Platforms: Experience with at least one security or intelligence platform (e.g., threat intelligence platform, SIEM, or SOAR)
- Nice to have:
- Exposure to Silobreaker, CrowdStrike Recon+, BlueVoyant, or Flashpoint
Requirements
Experience
- 1–3 years in cyber threat intelligence or related security fields (SOC, incident response, vulnerability management, etc.)
Key Skills
- Solid written English with ability to craft structured intelligence reports for diverse audiences
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and its practical application in threat analysis
- Experience with CTI/security platforms (e.g., SIEMs, TIPs, or SOAR tools)

- Analytical with strong attention to detail
- Critical thinking and sound judgment about source reliability
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Intelligence Studies, or related fields—or equivalent practical experience
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Automation & Scripting Skills:
- Experience with lightweight integrations (APIs), scripting (Python), or no-/low-code automation
- OSINT & IOC Enrichment: Familiarity with open-source intelligence (OSINT) techniques
- Certifications: GIAC GCTI, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent
- Structured Analysis: Understanding of the intelligence lifecycle and analytic techniques
