CyberArk Engineer
CyberArk Engineer – Contract Role
Pay: £475 per day Duration: 3-month rolling contract Location: Support a telecoms client across multiple projects ployment Type: Contract (paid outside IR35)
About the Role
ECS Resource Group are partnering with a global managed service provider to hire a CyberArk Engineer on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and support CyberArk Privileged Access Management solutions including:
- Vault
- CPM (CyberArk Conjur Policy Manager)
- PSM (CyberArk Secret Storage)
- PTA (optional: Privileged Task Automation)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement & deploy enterprise CyberArk PAM solutions across hybrid environments (on-prem & cloud).
- Onboard & manage privileged accounts for Windows, Linux, Unix, databases, network devices (Cisco, Fortigate), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Integrate CyberArk with identity and infrastructure systems, including:
- Active Directory
- Azure AD / Entra ID
- LDAP
- ServiceNow
- Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for:
- Account onboarding
- Password rotation
- Health checks
- API-driven integrations
- Provide 24/7 operational support, including:
- Troubleshooting PAM-related incidents
- Managing upgrades/patching
- Resolving security & authentication issues
- Supporting compliance & audit requirements*

Key Skills & Experience
✔ 5+ years deep expertise in CyberArk Privileged Access Manager deployments (preferably in enterprise environments). ✔ Proven knowledge of:
- Least privilege principles
- MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication)
- Secure credential lifecycle management ✔ Experience integrating CyberArk with:
- Active Directory / LDAP
- Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Database systems & network devices ✔ Strong scripting & automation skills using:
- PowerShell
- Python
- Bash ✔ Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, including:
- PSM (Privileged Services Manager)
- CPM (Conjur Policy Manager)
- SSL/TLS configurations
- Authentication protocols
