Role Overview
The Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Manager is a senior, client-facing role responsible for leading the end-to-end pre-sales process for cybersecurity opportunities. The role focuses on solution shaping, proposal development, and technical defense. The position works closely with Market teams, Key Account Managers, delivery teams, and technology partners to position Indra’s cybersecurity services effectively in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead the full pre-sales lifecycle for cybersecurity opportunities, from requirements understanding through proposal submission and client presentations.
- Act as the primary technical and solution SME during pre-sales engagements, capable of leading technical discussions and solution debates with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Develop high-level cybersecurity solution architectures aligned to customer needs, covering managed services, SOC, GRC, and IT/OT security, without being responsible for hands-on implementation.
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals, including bid defenses, workshops, and client meetings.
- Support Key Account Managers and Market teams in shaping opportunities and contributing to the closure of strategic deals.
- Collaborate with internal delivery and operations teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and aligned with service capabilities.
- Engage with technology partners, vendors, and distributors to build integrated solutions and joint value propositions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
