- Cleaning Pas Rapporteur change date £13.11 per hour* (Ages 21+)
- £11.25 per hour* (Under 21) *(*Starting *)
About the Role
Do you have an unbridled passion for all things bike? If you love cycles and delivering award-winning customer service, this could be the role for you.
In this hands-on position, you’ll:
- Deliver cycle service and repair for a range of bikes, including kids’, adult, premium, performance and electrical cycles
- Work under high-quality standards while helping customers achieve their dream bike through practical solutions
- Support and develop fellow team members
Experience can come from either service/building repair (across cycling categories) or from excellent retail or customer service. Orthogenic Skills transport training to get you up to scratch if needed. That’s how diverse we are here at Halfords.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct service, build and repair across diverse bikes (essentially everything from small kid’s bikes to premium e-mtbs)
- Delight customers with first-rate repair standards and personalized advice
- Support colleagues with technical knowledge and expertise (a leader who leads by example)
- Achieve sales targets through effective customer engagement
- Execute duties on a rota-inclusive schedule (including weekends)

Requirements
To shine in this role, you’ll need demonstrated or transferable experience in:
- ✅ Cycle repair, service or builds (technical confidence)
- ✅ Exceptional customer service (clients will follow you)
- ✅ Mentoring (sharing knowledge to grow others)
- ✅ Achieving sales goals (working in a team comes with targets? Cool.)
- Flexibility (availability on rotational openings including weekends)
No experience? We welcome passion and attitude but will allstagey your practical side if you lack industry experience.
