Sierra Trading

Sierra Trading is a wholesale importer and trader of organic, fine-flavour cacao and superfood ingredients, sourced directly from cooperatives in Peru. We supply B2B customers across the UK and EU, and we're now launching our own webstore — starting with wholesale-size products and expanding into retail 1kg packs of cacao and chocolate. This is a new, hands-on role for someone who wants to build a direct-to-consumer channel from the ground up, with real ownership over how it grows.

The Role

You'll own the day-to-day running of our new webstore and be the driving force behind getting it in front of customers — from listings and paid search through to our eventual launch on Amazon. You'll also be our main point of contact with co-packing partners, making sure retail packs are produced to spec, on time, and fully compliant.

This is a broad, varied role. Early on, you'll be doing a bit of everything; as the channel grows, we'd expect your role to grow and specialise with it.

What You'll Do

  • Webstore management: Build, maintain and optimise product listings (copy, imagery, pricing, categorisation) across our own site and, later, Amazon
  • Paid search: Plan, run and optimise Google Ads campaigns to drive qualified traffic and sales
  • Co-packing & supply: Manage relationships with our co-packing partners for retail pack production; coordinate specs, run sizes, timelines and quality checks
  • Packaging design: Work with designers/printers to develop retail packaging that reflects our brand and meets shelf-ready standards
  • Compliance: Ensure product labelling, allergen declarations, organic certification claims and weights & measures requirements are met for everything we sell at retail (with support from our technical manager)
  • Amazon launch: Plan and execute our entry onto Amazon (Seller Central setup, listings, FBA vs FBM decisions, ongoing account management)
  • Reporting: Track sales, ad performance and channel growth, and feed insights back into pricing and product decisions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What We're Looking For

  • 1–3 years' experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or a similar D2C/retail role (food & drink or FMCG experience is a plus, but not essential)
  • Some hands-on experience with Google Ads, Shopify (or similar), or online marketplace listings
  • Comfortable managing external suppliers/partners and following through on detail — packaging specs and compliance require real attention to accuracy
  • Confident working independently in a remote, small-team environment — you'll need to be self-directed
  • Genuine interest in food, sustainability, or ethical sourcing is a bonus
  • Willingness to learn: we'll support you on the compliance and sourcing side, but you should be comfortable getting stuck into something new
