We are seeking an experienced D365 Business Central Functional Analyst to join a customer implementation project within the Professional Services sector. This is a client-facing role where you will act as the functional lead for the Finance workstream, partnering with senior business stakeholders to deliver a successful Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation.
You will be responsible for understanding and documenting business processes, facilitating workshops, translating business requirements into functional solutions, and ensuring the customer is well positioned to manage their implementation alongside their Microsoft Partner. Experience with finance data management and data migration will be essential to the success of the project.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading business analysis activities for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation focused on Core Finance
- Facilitating process mapping sessions and discovery workshops with senior business stakeholders
- Gather, document, and validate functional and business requirements
- Provide functional expertise and best practice guidance across Finance processes
- Act as the primary liaison between the customer and the Microsoft implementation partner, helping to manage delivery and challenge solutions where appropriate
- Support Finance Data Management activities, including data cleansing, validation, governance, and migration planning
- Define and support data migration strategies, mapping legacy finance data into Business Central
- Review solution designs to ensure alignment with business requirements and industry best practice
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend standard Business Central functionality wherever possible
- Support testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and go-live activities
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress effectively throughout the implementation lifecycle

This will be a 6 month contract role outside IR35 with expenses covered and the customer are looking to setup interviews ASAP.
