Job Title: D365 Business Central Lead Functional Consultant (Manufacturing) Location: Fully Remote (UK-based) Salary: Up to £80,000 + benefits
About the Role We are looking for an experienced D365 Business Central Lead Functional Consultant to join a growing Microsoft Partner. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with a strong emphasis on functional delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
You will lead functional workstreams across end-to-end implementations, with a focus on manufacturing clients, while also playing a key role in shaping and scaling the D365 Business Central practice.
Key Responsibilities Lead the functional delivery of D365 Business Central implementations from discovery through to go-live and post-implementation support Run client workshops to gather, analyse, and document business requirements Translate business needs into effective functional solutions within D365 Business Central Configure the system in line with best practices across finance, manufacturing, and supply chain modules Act as the main point of contact for functional queries and client engagement Provide expert guidance on manufacturing processes, including production, MRP, and warehousing Work closely with technical consultants and developers to ensure successful solution delivery Support pre-sales activities including demos, scoping, and solution design Mentor junior functional consultants and contribute to internal knowledge sharing Help define and improve delivery methodologies and best practices as the practice scales

Required Experience & Skills Strong experience as a Functional Consultant delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central projects Proven ability to lead functional workstreams or act as a senior/lead consultant In-depth understanding of core Business Central modules, particularly finance and manufacturing Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., production orders, BOMs, MRP, inventory management) Experience facilitating workshops and managing stakeholder expectations Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications Strong communication and client-facing skills
