The Role

We are looking for a D365 Developer / Application Specialist to join our platform team in York on a hybrid basis.

The role will support the development, configuration and continuous improvement of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications, primarily across Customer Service and Sales. Working with the Technical Lead and wider delivery team, you will configure and customise D365 applications, develop extensions where needed, support integrations, resolve defects and contribute to reliable, maintainable platform delivery.

You should have practical experience with Dynamics 365, Dataverse, model-driven Power Apps, Power Automate and solution management. Experience with JavaScript, C#, plugins, APIs, Azure DevOps and ALM practices would be beneficial. Exposure to Dynamics 365 Contact Centre, Omnichannel or contact centre environments would be a bonus.

This is a hands-on mid-level role for someone who is comfortable working across configuration and development, with a strong focus on quality, maintainability and effective delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a capable mid-level D365 developer or application specialist who is comfortable working across both configuration and development. They will have experience delivering change in Dynamics 365 environments and will understand the importance of good application lifecycle management, testing, governance and documentation.

They should be technically curious, pragmatic and delivery focused. They do not need to be an architect, but they should be able to make sound implementation decisions within agreed standards and know when to seek guidance from the Technical Lead.

They will be joining a team responsible for core business applications, so reliability, maintainability and operational awareness are important. The role would suit someone who wants to deepen their D365 and Power Platform expertise while contributing to a platform that supports important customer and sales processes.
