Dynamics 365 F&O Manufacturing Functional Consultant
Initial 6-Month Contract
£450–£500 per day | Outside IR35
Remote with occasional travel to manufacturing sites in the UK & France
We're supporting a global manufacturing organisation on a major Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations transformation programme and are looking for an experienced D365 F&O Manufacturing Functional Consultant to lead the Manufacturing workstream.
This is a hands-on functional consulting role focused on delivering Manufacturing capabilities across multiple production sites. We're looking for someone with strong Manufacturing module experience who understands production processes from planning through to execution and can work closely with production, operations and supply chain teams to deliver scalable D365 F&O solutions.
The Role
Working as part of an international D365 F&O rollout, you will:

- Lead the design, configuration and optimisation of the D365 F&O Manufacturing module.
- Facilitate workshops with manufacturing, production, planning and supply chain stakeholders.
- Configure and optimise Production Control functionality.
- Support production planning, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Routes and Production Orders.
- Configure Manufacturing Execution processes and support shop floor operations.
- Support subcontracting processes and manufacturing supply chain activities.
- Assess inventory and costing impacts across manufacturing processes.
- Work alongside Warehouse, Supply Chain and Finance teams to ensure end-to-end process integration.
- Support system testing, UAT, cutover, go-live and post-implementation activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency, production processes and operational performance.

Skills & Experience Required:
We're keen to speak with consultants who have proven experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Manufacturing solutions, including:
- D365 F&O Manufacturing
- Production Control
- Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Routes
- Production Orders
- Manufacturing Execution
- Shop Floor processes
- Subcontracting
- Inventory and manufacturing costing
- End-to-end manufacturing lifecycle
- Multi-site manufacturing rollouts
Highly Desirable:
- Experience within discrete manufacturing or parts/components manufacturing environments.
- Experience integrating Manufacturing with Supply Chain and Advanced Warehouse Management.
- International D365 F&O implementation experience.
- Strong workshop facilitation, business process mapping and stakeholder management skills.
