D365 Functional Consultant

D365 Functional Consultant – Warehouse Management System (WMS)

About the Role

We’re seeking a D365 Functional Consultant who will shape and optimise our Warehouse Management System (WMS) within Dynamics 365. Working closely with warehousing, logistics, finance, and IT teams, you’ll capture business requirements, configure solutions, and deliver enhancements that optimise AO’s operations.

This role demands hands-on expertise in functional design, configuration, testing, and adoption—from troubleshooting daily issues to driving continuous improvement. You’ll ensure our systems provide real value by aligning them with operational and strategic goals, collaborative across Finance & Operations (F&O) modules, PowerApps integrations, and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across Warehousing, Logistics, Finance, and IT to translate business processes into functional specifications and documentation
  • Configure and optimise D365 WMS solutions, supporting Finance/F&O where applicable
  • Lead functional, regression, and user acceptance testing, manage defects, and validate outcomes
  • Design and deliver training sessions while creating user guides for adoption of new features
  • Provide day-to-day functional support, troubleshooting issues and ensuring system stability
  • Align with IT Service Management (ITSM) to ensure SLA compliance in service delivery
  • Champion Dynamics 365 functionality, identifying opportunities to adopt new roadmap features
  • Stay current with latest Dynamics 365 ecosystem developments, applying best practices for optimisation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
