Role: Dairy Farm Consultant

Location: Cumbria, North of England & Southwest Scotland

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000+ depending on experience, plus bonus, company car and competitive benefits

Are you interested in helping dairy farmers improve performance and profitability?

Whether you're already working as a Dairy Consultant or you've built experience in nutrition, farm business management, genetics, milk production or another dairy-focused advisory role, we'd like to hear from you.

Kite Consulting is one of the UK's well-known dairy consultancy businesses. We work alongside progressive dairy farmers, helping them make informed decisions that lead to better technical performance, better financial results and sustainable long-term growth.

We’re looking for an individual who likes forming relationships, addressing problems, and contributing to positive outcomes on the farm. This position could suit an experienced consultant interested in a fresh professional opportunity, as well as someone with a deep dairy background who wants to move into consulting.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
