Damp and Mould Surveyor – Temporary Role
A fantastic opportunity to work as a Damp and Mould Surveyor in a prominent Housing Association, supporting the introduction of the Awaabs Law. Your expertise will directly contribute to reducing damp and mould cases within the organisation, which is committed to high-quality care and compliance.
About the Role
- Location: Worcestershire (hybrid working)
- Contract type: Temporary (paid business mileage included)
- Workstyle: Hybrid working with an emphasis on work-life balance
- Payment: Weekly pay via umbrella, £35–37 per hour (competitive rate)

Ideal for candidates with:
- Previous experience as a Damp and Mould Surveyor within social housing
- Practical skills in diagnosing and formulating repair solutions for residential properties
- Ability to work efficiently at pace and adapt to chang+e
Responsibilities
As a Damp and Mould Surveyor, you will:
- Deploy daily maintenance activities, including reactive fixes and damp/mould inspections
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance, repair, and worksite activities
- Pinpoint root causes of households/' maintenance problems
- Oversee tradespeople while surveying and implementing repairs

Requirements
We’re seeking candidates with:
- Direct experience undertaking and reporting on damp and mould inspections
- Hands-on experience diagnosing repair campaigns for residential properties
- Familiarity or background working within social housing environments
- Strong time management/communication skills to multitask under tight deadlines
