Dance Teacher (KS3 & KS4) – Permanent Position

Contract Type: Permanent Pay Scale: Inner London Pay Scale

Reeson Education is supporting a large mainstream secondary school in Lambeth, seeking a passionate Dance Teacher to commence teaching from September 2026.

The Role

Job Summary

You will teach Dance across KS3 and KS4, ensuring alignment with the latest examination specifications and departmental schemes of work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality Dance lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Ensure teaching adheres to the most up-to-date exam requirements.
  • Follow the departmental schemes of work.
  • Maintain accurate student attendance records via the school’s SIMS system.
  • Implement teaching guidance outlined in the Staff Handbook, including:
    • Effective use of resources.
    • Checking of student files.
    • Implementation of learning support strategies.
    • Application of ICT tools.
    • Adherence to health and safety procedures.
  • Apply classroom management policies as defined by the school.
  • Engage in staff development opportunities, including:
    • In-service training.
    • Classroom observations.
    • Feedback sessions as requested by the Head of Department.
