Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Dangerous Goods Agent.

Working hours: 37.5 per week
Working Pattern:
- Hours based on a roster working a 6-day week with one day off & a 4 day week.
- Monday - Thursday 1400-2200
- Friday 1330 - 2130
- Saturday 0900 - 1700
What You Will Be Doing
As a Dangerous Goods Agent, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient handling of regulated shipments. Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a local point of contact for Dangerous Goods compliance and operational guidance.
- Applying regulatory requirements, company policies, and operational procedures to the acceptance, handling, storage, and movement of Dangerous Goods.
- Conducting checks to ensure shipments meet applicable legal and company requirements.
- Identifying, escalating, and supporting the resolution of non-compliant shipments.
- Maintaining current knowledge of relevant Dangerous Goods regulations and company requirements.
- Supporting operational teams with guidance on the safe handling of regulated materials.
- Reporting and escalating incidents, spills, misdeclared shipments, and compliance concerns in accordance with company procedures.
- Contributing to audits, investigations, and corrective actions where required.
- Promoting a strong culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Maintaining any required qualifications, certifications, and recurrent training relevant to the role.

- Basic IT literacy and the ability to accurately complete records, reports, and operational documentation.
Desirable
- Previous experience working within a regulated, compliance, logistics, transport, aviation, or Dangerous Goods environment.
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods regulations, including ADR, IATA, IMDG, or equivalent frameworks.
- Experience supporting operational teams in a safety or compliance-focused role.
