About the Role
As a Data Administrator, you will play a vital role at the heart of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team within Smokefree Lancashire. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by supporting frontline colleagues with the effective management and use of data.
You’ll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the service, providing essential office support, maintaining high-quality data systems, and helping to turn information into meaningful insights. Your contribution will directly support the delivery of positive outcomes for the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective processing of correspondence/data entry as required for SmokeFree Lancashire.
- Minute take at partnership meetings, team meetings, and other meetings as required.
- Maintain and update information databases as required, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Lead on database development and management within the service, ensuring that they meet user and service requirements.
- Prepare timely and accurate statistical data and reports for the Data Specialist and management team as required.
- Input, check, and validate data recorded on local and national information databases (PHE, and CRIIS, where applicable) on a regular basis to ensure it meets agreed quality and performance standards.
- Provide effective administrative support to the Service as agreed with the Data Specialist. The post holder will offer organizational, administrative, and clerical services to the team designed to contribute towards its aims and objectives.

About You
- Knowledge and experience of general office procedure and administrative duties
- IT literacy including proficiency in data collection systems (e.g., Public health, CRiiS)
- Expertise in working with WORD, EXCEL, and ACCESS IT packages
- Experience of maintaining databases and other data management systems
- Capacity to work alone and the ability to keep calm under pressure
- Employ an empathetic and non-judgmental attitude towards service users
- IT literacy including proficiency in word processing, excel spreadsheets, and data entry.
- Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to work flexibly as part of a team.
- The ability to respond to appropriate requests for assistance, maintaining confidentiality whenever necessary.
- Solid numeric skills.
- Good organizational skills.
