Blair West are supporting Reeves Group with the appointment of a Data & AI Engineer at a key stage in their growth.
Reeves is an FCA-regulated financial advisory firm with over £1.3bn in assets under management and a six-time FT Top 100 ranking. With continued investment in data and AI, they are building a modern, scalable data platform to enable better decision-making and innovation across the business. This role, reporting to the CTO, will play a central part in shaping that capability.
The opportunity:
- Design and deliver scalable data architectures to support analytics, AI, and business operations.
- Working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders, you’ll translate requirements into robust solutions and drive best practice across data engineering and governance.
- Design and implement end-to-end data architectures.
- Build and optimise batch and streaming data pipelines.
- Support AI-driven solutions, including RAG and vector-based architectures.
- Lead data migration and platform integration activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Drive standards in data governance, quality, and documentation.
- Evaluate tools and technologies to support ongoing innovation.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:
- Data engineering/architecture experience in cloud environments.
- Strong data modelling and pipeline development capability.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake or similar.
- Knowledge of AI data architectures and modern data tooling.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Financial services experience (desirable).
- Relevant cloud certifications (desirable).
