Role Description
The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data to support informed business decisions and improve operational performance. This role transforms complex datasets into meaningful insights by identifying trends, evaluating performance metrics, and providing data-driven recommendations that support strategic and operational objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Gathering data from multiple sources
- Performing data cleaning and validation
- Conducting exploratory analysis
- Developing reports and dashboards that communicate important business insights
The Data Analyst works closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, define analytical approaches, and deliver accurate, timely, and actionable insights.
The role involves:
- Analyzing key performance indicators
- Monitoring business trends
- Identifying opportunities for optimization
- Supporting data-driven initiatives across the organization
The Data Analyst develops and maintains analytical reports, improves data processes, ensures data accuracy, and contributes to the enhancement of reporting frameworks and measurement strategies.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Designing data visualizations
- Interpreting analytical results
- Documenting methodologies
- Presenting findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders

The Data Analyst continuously evaluates analytical methods, explores new tools and technologies, and contributes to building a strong data-driven culture. Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to transform data into practical business recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of data analysis principles, statistical methods, and analytical problem-solving techniques.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases and structured datasets.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms.
- Ability to collect, clean, transform, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
- Strong understanding of data quality management, validation processes, and analytical best practices.
- Ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights through quantitative analysis.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
- Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and actionable insights.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and automation.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to manage multiple analytical projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of reporting automation, data modeling, and dashboard development is a plus.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning in data analytics, technology, and business intelligence.
- High level of accuracy, professionalism, and accountability when handling business data and analytical information.
