Location: London/Oxford/Hybrid
Salary: Up to £55,000

Overview

Oxford (Hybrid, 2 days per week) | Up to £55,000 + Benefits | 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract

This is an excellent opportunity for a Data Analyst to join a highly data-driven financial services business on a critical regulatory programme. You'll play a key role in delivering accurate data analysis and reporting, working on high-profile projects that directly impact customer outcomes and regulatory compliance.

The Role

As a Data Analyst, you will support a major regulatory and customer remediation programme, working with complex datasets to deliver accurate reporting and data extracts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Writing, optimising, and maintaining SQL queries to support analysis and reporting requirements
  • Extracting, manipulating, and validating large volumes of data
  • Supporting regulatory reporting and customer remediation activities
  • Working with complaints and operational datasets to provide actionable insights
  • Handling high volumes of data requests from internal stakeholders
  • Producing accurate data extracts and reports with a strong focus on data quality
  • Collaborating closely with analytics teams and business stakeholders across the organisation
  • Contributing to the successful delivery of a business-critical programme

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience using SQL on a daily basis
  • Proven ability to manipulate, transform, and analyse large datasets
  • Experience producing large-scale data extracts and supporting reporting requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to data analysis
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working within regulated industries is advantageous
  • Financial services experience would be beneficial
  • Experience with Tableau or a similar visualisation tool is desirable
  • Knowledge of customer complaints, remediation, or regulatory reporting processes would be advantageous
