Data Analyst - Banbury: Up to £60,000pa DOE plus Performance Bonus & Benefits.
Bibby Financial Services are growing, and we’re looking for a Data Analyst to join our Data Team in Banbury. As a Data Analyst you will play a pivotal role in shaping the data strategy and analytical capabilities of the organisation. This role will be responsible for delivering high-impact insights, building scalable data solutions, and laying the foundation for a growing data function. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand data needs, develop reporting frameworks, and support decision-making through robust analysis.

What you’ll be doing:
- Ensure reporting solutions are scalable, accurate and aligned with business requirements
- Adhere to standards and processes around PowerBI and automated report development
- Design, develop and maintain dashboards and automated reports to support operational and strategic decision making
- Translate complex data findings into clear and concise recommendations
- Proactively explore data to uncover opportunities for process improvement and business growth
- Work closely with the data engineering team to ensure availability, accuracy and reliability of data reports and BI dashboards
- Design and maintain robust data models that support efficient querying, reporting and advanced analytics
- Work closely with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, understand business challenges and deliver tailored analytical solutions
- Act as a trusted advisor on data-related matters

Who are we looking for?
- Previous experience as a data analyst
- Experience translating business problems into analytical solutions
- Experience of data modelling principles, including dimensional modelling, relational databases and business logic design.
- Previous experience with: PowerBI (or equivalent) for data visualisation and dashboard creation. SQL for data extraction and manipulation and analysis. Python or R for analysis and automation
- Experience carrying out complex analysis of business data to deliver key business goals
