Job Description Role- Data Analyst Business System Analyst Domain Expertise-Financial Services ,Capital Markets, Client facing role Mode-Hybrid-3 Days from Paddington, UK Type-Perm/FTE
Job Description We are seeking a detail oriented Data Analyst Business System Analyst with strong experience in Financial Services or Capital Markets The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders product owners and technical teams to analyze data define business requirements and translate them into clear functional and data specifications The candidate will play a key role in supporting data platforms reporting and downstream analytics initiatives
Key Responsibilities Business Data Analysis Partner with business stakeholders to understand business processes data usage and reporting needs within Capital Markets Financial Services domains Gather analyze and document business functional and data requirements Translate business requirements into clear functional specs data mappings and user stories Data Reporting Perform data analysis using SQL and other analytical tools to validate data quality completeness and business rules Support reporting and dashboard initiatives by working closely with BI and data engineering teams Analyze source to target mappings and support reconciliation and validation activities Stakeholder Delivery Support Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams Data Engineering ETL MDM QA Participate in design discussions requirement walkthroughs and UAT support Support production issues data investigations and root cause analysis as needed

Required Skills Experience 6 years of experience as Data Analyst Business Analyst Business System Analyst Strong domain experience in Financial Services or Capital Markets Asset Management Investments Trading Reference Data Client Data preferred Strong SQL skills with hands on experience in data analysis and validation Experience working with data warehouses ETL pipelines and reporting platforms Solid understanding of data models data flows and integration concepts Experience working in Agile Scrum delivery environments Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Good to Have Experience with MDM Reference Data or Client Data platforms Exposure to cloud data platforms AWS Experience supporting regulatory reporting or risk related data workflows Skills Mandatory Skills : BFS - Data Analysis
