Based in London, this role supports the global investment function by ensuring the accurate, timely, and reliable delivery of investment data to decision‑makers and analytical teams.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing investment data capability at a pivotal stage of its development. As an Analyst, Investment Data Services UK, you'll play a key role in enabling trusted investment data across front‑office, operational, and analytical teams.
You'll work across data acquisition, mastering, production, and governance - operating as a subject matter expert on investment data platforms and collaborating closely with technology, investment, and operations stakeholders.
You'll have the opportunity to: Undertake daily control tasks and monitor database updates to ensure accurate and timely data delivery. Troubleshoot data pipeline disruptions with technology teams and communicate impacts to downstream users. Identify, investigate, and resolve data exceptions and quality issues; escalate as needed and represent the team in issue management forums. Perform investment data interrogation and reconciliations using modern tools; investigate breaks with operational teams and vendors. Liaise with data vendors, custodians, and investment teams to resolve data and reporting issues, ensuring SLAs are met. Evaluate business requests for new data and participate in design, implementation, and testing of data solutions. Recommend and implement improvements to data collection, maintenance, timeliness, and reporting. Act as a subject matter expert in sourcing, validating, and governing data. Identify and apply new technologies to improve data management and reporting processes (including Microsoft Power Automate). Operate on ad hoc data management and reporting requests from the Data Services department. Nurture and maintain internal relationships across all levels of the Fund, collaborating locally and internationally. Ensure compliance with relevant legislative and organisational requirements, and advocate for continuous improvement in governance and risk management.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
