Job Title: Data Analyst Assessor (Level 3 & 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship)
Location: Remote / Home Based
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £50–55k
Industry: Education
Company:
A leading End-point Assessment Organisation is looking for a technically strong Data Analyst Assessor to support EPA Gateway readiness and conduct End-point Assessments for apprentices completing the Level 3 and Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeships.
This role is fully remote/home based with flexible working.
About the Job:
As an Independent Assessor, you'll use deep subject-matter expertise to assess apprentices' evidence against the full Apprenticeship Standard, conducting interviews, reviewing submitted work, and applying grading criteria with constructive feedback. Because you'll be judging apprentices' statistical and analytical competence, you must be able to evaluate the rigour of their methods: spotting flawed analysis, inappropriate statistical techniques, and unsupported conclusions, not just whether the work looks complete.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Beyond day-to-day assessment, you'll have CPD time and the opportunity to shape our EPA product, designing and developing assessment resources using your technical expertise.
The Ideal Candidate, Essential Technical Bar:
- A minimum of three years' hands-on experience as a working data analyst, with demonstrable depth in statistical analysis, including descriptive and inferential statistics, hypothesis testing, regression, probability distributions, sampling, and forecasting techniques.
- Proven, practical proficiency in SQL and Python (including data-analysis libraries such as pandas/NumPy and statistical packages). This is a coding-capable role, not a tools-aware one, so you should be comfortable writing and reviewing analytical code.
- A degree in statistics, mathematics, data science, or a closely related quantitative field, or clearly demonstrable equivalent professional experience.
- Confident in working with CRM systems and a broad range of analytical tools and technologies.
