Company Description Tarafi Capital Advisory is a global boutique M&A and capital advisory firm focused on private markets. The firm advises founders, operators, and corporates on sell-side exits ranging from $10M to $1B, buy-side acquisition sourcing, and institutional capital raises from pre-seed through growth equity. Engagements are taken on selectively to ensure high-quality, tailored advisory services. All client work is handled on a strictly confidential basis, offering a professional environment with exposure to complex international transactions.
Role Description The Data Analyst role is a full-time remote position responsible for supporting M&A and capital advisory engagements through rigorous data-driven insights. Day-to-day activities include:

- Collecting, cleaning, and organizing financial and market data from multiple sources
- Building datasets and dashboards to support deal analysis and client reporting
- Performing quantitative analyses, applying statistical methods, and developing data models to evaluate transaction opportunities and portfolio performance
- Preparing clear visualizations and summaries for internal teams and clients
- Collaborating closely with advisory professionals
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of internal analytics tools and processes

Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and Data Analytics capabilities to interpret complex financial and market information
- Proficiency in Statistics and Data Modeling to design and validate quantitative frameworks for transaction analysis
- Effective Communication skills to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders and support client discussions
- Experience with data tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI/visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Background in finance, economics, data science, or a related field; bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience preferred
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with M&A, private markets, or investment analysis is an advantage
