Business Data Analyst
Asset Management | London | Hybrid
We're partnering with a leading investment management organisation that is investing heavily in data, automation, and technology to support the next phase of its growth. As part of this investment, they're looking to hire a Business Data Analyst to join a growing data function focused on improving data quality, governance, reporting, and automation across the business.
This is an excellent opportunity to work at the heart of a business undergoing significant transformation, helping to shape how data is managed, analysed, and leveraged across Operations, Product, Risk, Performance, Fund Accounting, and Front Office teams.
The Role
Working within a collaborative Business Data Management team, you'll play a key role in delivering the organisation's data strategy by identifying opportunities to automate manual processes, improving data governance, and developing insightful reporting solutions.
You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand data challenges, implement new technologies, and support the development of self-service reporting capabilities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
