Role Description

This is a remote Data Analyst Training and Internship role designed for individuals seeking practical experience while developing core analytical skills. Day-to-day activities include working with datasets to clean, organize, and validate data, as well as supporting data modeling and basic statistical analysis tasks. The role involves assisting with the creation of reports, dashboards, and visualizations that help communicate insights to internal stakeholders and mentors. Participants will follow a structured learning path, attend virtual training sessions, receive feedback on assigned projects, and collaborate with peers on team-based analytical exercises. The program is ideal for individuals looking to transition into data analytics or strengthen their capabilities while balancing other academic or professional commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends and patterns
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports for business insights
  • Write efficient SQL queries to extract and manipulate data
  • Assist in defining KPIs and metrics for business performance
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and business teams
  • Present insights in a clear and actionable manner

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 0–1 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related role
  • Basic proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Introductory knowledge of SQL or databases
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective collaboration and articulation of complex ideas.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team, highlighting adaptability and strong teamwork capabilities.
