Data Analyst
Customer Intelligence Analyst – Pharma Led Health & Beauty Retailer

As our in-house Customer Intelligence Analyst, your role spans three key areas:
- Deep customer analysis: Understand what resonates with customers and identify opportunities to grow our Advantage Card scheme.
- Leverage powerful technology & systems: Use advanced tools to uncover key insights and guide future business strategies.
- Drive marketing alignment: Your findings will directly shape our knowledge-based, direct marketing campaigns—ensuring our messaging always reflects genuine customer needs.
Detailed Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Duties
- Data-driven customer insight: Analyse our Boots Advantage Card customer data using advanced system technology.
- Collaborate with the Insights Team: Share expertise and passion for exceptional customer service.
- Create compelling presentations: Translate findings into actionable recommendations that shape future marketing strategies.
- Technical support role: Assist colleagues with system adoption, providing guidance on data-related questions.

Key Strategic Deliverables
- Feedback & service improvement strategy:
- Continuously analyse customer feedback to identify opportunities for service and marketing enhancements.
- Spot patterns and unified thoughts (e.g., service, product, or in-store feedback gaps) and present actionable findings.
- Data management & system optimisation:
- Oversee data collection, ensuring customer insights are always current and strategically valuable.
- Customer-centric marketing innovation:
- Work closely with the Insights Team to understand customer sentiment (products, services, or potential improvements).
- Deliver recommendations that prioritise customer perspectives in all campaigns.

Requirements
We are looking for cu ifensive, collaborative individuals who thrive in high-performing teams—because at our core, our people drive our success.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Technical proficiency:
- Hands-on experience in database analysis, specifically using SQL or similar tools.
- Analytical/quantitative background:
- Degree in a numerate discipline (e.g., Economics, Mathematics, Operational Research).
- Business acumen:
- In-depth understanding of databases, marketing insights, or customer intelligence—we want someone passionate about delivered value.
