About the Company
Our client is a PE-backed omnichannel retailer with over 200 stores and a fast-growing e-commerce business across the UK and Ireland. With £400m in annual revenue, the business is mid-transformation, and the Chief Data Officer is building out analytical capability to ensure the business can act on its data, not just store it.
The Role
As a Data Analyst, you will produce insights that directly inform commercial, operational, and marketing decisions. You will query, clean, and interpret large datasets, develop recurring reports, and work with business stakeholders on specific commercial questions.

What You'll Do
- Write SQL queries to extract and transform data from the company's data warehouse for both regular reporting and ad hoc analysis.
- Build and maintain dashboards in Tableau or Power BI for commercial, finance, and marketing teams.
- Conduct analyses on customer behaviour, product performance, pricing, and campaign effectiveness.
- Work with stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and deliver insight they can act on.
- Support data quality initiatives by identifying inconsistencies and working with the data engineering team.
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in a data analyst or similar role.
- Strong SQL skills (able to write complex queries independently).
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or a comparable visualisation tool.
- A commercial mindset (you understand what data means for the business).

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary of £38,000 – £50,000, depending on experience.
- Annual bonus and employee discount.
- 25 days holiday and hybrid working from London.
- Pension and private medical.
