About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Consulting team in a newly created, early-career role. This position is ideal for someone eager to develop their expertise in data analytics within the beverage alcohol industry. As part of our team, you will work directly on live client projects from day one, transforming complex quantitative data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations. The role offers a unique opportunity to engage with high-level industry leaders, support end-to-end consulting processes, and contribute to impactful market intelligence projects. You will leverage proprietary datasets, conduct secondary research, and develop compelling narratives that inform client strategies. This position is based in London, with a hybrid working pattern that emphasizes collaboration and flexibility.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a naturally curious and inquisitive mindset, with a strong desire to understand the underlying reasons behind data trends. Attention to detail is essential, as is a commitment to producing accurate and well-checked work. Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint are required, with the ability to analyze large datasets and present insights clearly. A team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist colleagues across various projects are highly valued. While not mandatory, familiarity with beverage alcohol, FMCG, or related industries, as well as language skills in Spanish, French, other European languages, or Mandarin, will be considered advantageous. Experience with Power BI, SQL, SPSS, SAS, or Q is a plus, but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Utilizing IWSR's proprietary category and consumer datasets to build, interrogate, and interpret complex quantitative analyses.
- Supporting consulting projects from inception to delivery, designing research methodologies, planning analyses, and creating visual outputs in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Conducting secondary and desk research to enhance market intelligence and provide context for client deliverables.
- Translating quantitative findings into clear, compelling narratives and strategic recommendations tailored to client needs.
- Managing multiple live projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
- Collaborating with team members and actively participating in project discussions.
