About This Role

Are you an experienced Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, Reporting Analyst or Commercial Analyst looking for your next challenge? Our Data Analyst role within Dawsongroup Vans offers the opportunity to shape how data drives decision making across fleet operations, finance, asset management and commercial performance.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll transform complex data into meaningful insights that support smarter asset strategies, improve performance and maximise return on investment across the business.

  • Build and develop Power BI, Tableau and other business intelligence dashboards for operational and leadership teams.
  • Analyse fleet utilisation, asset performance, downtime and demand forecasting to support business growth.
  • Deliver financial reporting and modelling around revenue, depreciation, cost of ownership and lifecycle value.
  • Work collaboratively with departments across the business to identify opportunities and drive data-led decisions.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency and integrity of operational, telematics and financial datasets.

About You

You enjoy solving problems, finding patterns and turning information into actionable insights that make a real difference. Equally comfortable working independently or collaborating with stakeholders, you're passionate about using data to support positive change and continuous improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
