About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Instructional Designer to join our dynamic team at IT Online Learning. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining engaging online course content that meets the educational needs of our diverse learner base. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design principles, e-learning development tools, and a passion for creating impactful digital learning experiences. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts, multimedia developers, and instructors to ensure the delivery of high-quality educational content that aligns with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred. Proven experience in designing and developing online courses or e-learning modules is essential, with a portfolio demonstrating previous work. Familiarity with instructional design models such as ADDIE or SAM, and proficiency in authoring tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia is required. Strong understanding of multimedia production, graphic design, and user experience principles is highly desirable. Excellent communication, project management, and collaborative skills are necessary to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design engaging, interactive, and pedagogically sound online courses and learning modules tailored to various audiences.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and analyze content requirements, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Utilize instructional design models and best practices to create effective learning experiences.
  • Incorporate multimedia elements such as videos, animations, simulations, and assessments to enhance learner engagement.
  • Conduct reviews and testing of course content to ensure functionality, usability, and quality standards are met.
  • Maintain and update existing courses to reflect new information, technological advancements, and feedback from learners.
  • Support the implementation of learning management systems (LMS), including uploading content, tracking progress, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and innovations in online education to continuously improve course offerings and instructional strategies.
