Data Analyst - SEO

SEO Data Analyst

Location: Remote UK Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum Contract: Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours (Core hours 10:00 am-2:00 pm Monday-Friday)

We're here to help those who teach. It's what brings us to work every day. At Twinkl, we’ve been providing educators across the world with high quality, trusted teaching and learning resources for over a decade now. They’re all written and checked by our wonderful team of experienced educators, and there are hundreds of thousands of resources to download, with new ones added daily.

We are looking for an experienced and technically-minded SEO Data Analyst to join our SEO team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an analyst with a background in SEO to apply their skills to large-scale, SEO-first sites.

You will be the bridge between our data and the actionable insights that shape our organic growth strategy. You won't just be reporting numbers; you'll be using your technical skills to analyse large-scale data, uncovering trends, opportunities, and the "why" behind our performance.

We're looking for someone who pairs deep, hands-on SEO knowledge with strong technical data skills, and who can operate with a good degree of autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use SQL to query and extract large datasets from our data warehouse, including web traffic, rankings, and crawl data.
  • Utilise Python (using libraries like Pandas/Polars, NumPy, Matplotlib) to clean, analyse, and visualise data to identify performance trends and opportunities.
  • Own the design and maintenance of dashboards and reports in tools like Google Data Studio or Tableau to monitor key SEO metrics.
  • Analyse SERP (Search Engine Results Page) landscapes, competitor performance, and other forms of search data to inform content and technical SEO strategy.
  • Collaborate with the wider teams to provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Design and run SEO tests and other experiments, analysing the results to prove the effectiveness of our SEO initiatives.
  • Communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
