Data Analyst (Workforce Analytics SC Clearance) Remote UK to £45k

Are you a Data Analyst who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful insights that influence strategic decision-making?

You could be joining a specialist not-for-profit research organisation delivering one of the UK's most significant workforce planning programmes, helping shape the future skills strategy for major national infrastructure and defence projects.

As a Data Analyst, you'll play a key role in a large scale workforce analytics programme, working with leading engineering and defence organisations to collect, validate and analyse workforce data. You'll improve data collection processes, model complex datasets and identify trends, skills gaps and future workforce requirements that inform long term planning and policy.

This is a highly collaborative role where you'll work closely with senior stakeholders, translating technical findings into clear, actionable insights. You'll also help define data methodologies, improve data quality and support the delivery of dashboards and reporting.

About You

  • You have experience analysing large, complex datasets
  • You have strong Python and / or R skills for statistical data analysis and data modelling
  • You have a good understanding of data quality, governance and statistical analysis
  • You have experience of improving data collection or analytical processes
  • You have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ideally you'll have some experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar visualisation tools, although it's not essential
  • A background in workforce analytics, research, public sector, engineering, defence or another data-rich environment would be beneficial
  • You must be eligible to achieve SC Clearance (i.e. British citizen or resident for a minimum of 5 years)
