Role Description
The Data Analyst role at Heffernan Utilities is a full-time, on-site position based in Brighouse. In this role, the Data Analyst will collect, clean, and analyze operational and project data to support decision-making across gas, water, electric, M&E, construction, and EV charging services. The role involves building and maintaining reports and dashboards, identifying trends and performance indicators, and providing insights to project managers and senior leadership. The Data Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, validate data accuracy, and present findings in a clear and accessible manner. Additional responsibilities include contributing to process improvements, supporting forecasting and planning activities, and ensuring data is handled in line with relevant compliance and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills and Data Analytics capabilities to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
- Solid knowledge of Statistics to support reporting, forecasting, and performance measurement.
- Experience with Data Modeling to structure data for reporting, dashboards, and analysis.
- Effective Communication skills to present data findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency with data tools such as Excel, SQL, or business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Brighouse, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Experience in utilities, construction, or infrastructure sectors is an advantage but not required.
