You'll play a key role in helping organisations improve data quality, strengthen governance, solve complex business challenges and unlock greater value from their data assets while continuing to grow through our structured development programmes.
About the Role
We're opening applications for experienced Data Consultants to support a leading financial services organisation. This role sits at the intersection of data, business operations and change delivery, helping to ensure critical business and investment data is accurate, accessible and trusted across the organisation.
You'll act as a key partner to business, technology and change teams, supporting both day-to-day data management activities and strategic transformation initiatives. Working across multiple stakeholder groups, you'll help shape data requirements, resolve complex data challenges and drive improvements that enhance decision-making and operational effectiveness.

Typical Responsibilities Include:
Data Management & Governance
- Act as a custodian of business-critical data, supporting its creation, maintenance and ongoing quality.
- You'll help design and monitor data controls, investigate issues and contribute to governance frameworks that ensure data remains accurate, consistent and fit for purpose.
Business Analysis & Stakeholder Partnership
- Work closely with business users to understand how data supports operational and strategic objectives.
- You'll gather requirements, define use cases, identify process improvements and collaborate with change teams to deliver effective, sustainable solutions.
Data Quality & Operational Support
- Provide expertise on data-related matters, undertaking reconciliations, quality checks and root-cause analysis to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- You'll support stakeholders by ensuring trusted data is available when and where it's needed.
Data & Change Delivery
- Support transformation initiatives by embedding data best practice into project delivery.
- You'll work across business and technology teams to improve processes, implement controls and help organisations realise greater value from their data assets.
We'd Love to Hear From You If You Have:
- Proven experience in Data Management, Data Analysis, Business Analysis or a related discipline
- Experience partnering with stakeholders to gather requirements, solve problems and support business change
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate data issues, identify trends and recommend improvements
- Experience working with data quality controls, governance frameworks or operational data management processes
- Confidence working with tools such as SQL, Excel, databases, reporting or visualisation platforms
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-focused outcomes
- Experience working within Financial Services, Asset Management, Wealth Management or a similarly regulated environment would be advantageous
- An understanding of investment, portfolio, transaction or reference data would be beneficial
- The ability to work on-site up to 5 days per week depending on client needs
- The right to work in the UK for the duration of the programme
