Data Analytics Engineer
The Data Analytics Engineer role sits within the Technology Team at easyJet Holidays, reporting into the Senior Data Analytics Manager. This team works alongside Data Engineering and Data Science to build the analytical pipelines and visualisations that help the wider business make sense of its data. As new products roll out quickly, the team keeps analytical data available and fit for purpose.
In this role, you'll build visualisations and data pipelines that give people across the business access to the data they need. You'll also work closely with stakeholders, turning their goals into practical data products.
You will be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining Liveboards and AI Agents using Thoughtspot and Redshift, turning business requirements into clear, accurate visualisations
- Developing Python and SQL based data pipelines within the Dagster and AWS ecosystem, documenting and testing data models through dbt
- Contributing to the DataOps framework and tooling, improving patterns where you can
- Making sure governance and compliance across the data estate meets regulatory requirements
- Mentoring and coaching other Analytics Engineers, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists, including supplier-based team members
- Carrying out ad hoc analysis and model development as needed
- Working with stakeholders across the business to find new ways to use data, while helping the wider data community build their skills
What you'll bring to the team:
- A mix of experience across data analysis and data engineering, with a strong grasp of SQL and Python development including Git
- Experience with visualisation and analytics tools such as Thoughtspot, Tableau, or Power BI
- Experience setting up and developing ETL/ELT tooling such as Dagster, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, Airflow, or dbt
- Experience with AWS-based data tooling, ideally with some exposure to GCP too
- A logical, methodical approach to problem-solving, backed by a strong numerical and analytical background
- A track record of managing complex technical data teams across a variety of disciplines and objectives
- Comfort working with stakeholders to understand their goals and translate them into data products
- The ability to explain complex concepts simply and think laterally about the impact of change
- A high level of attention to detail and the confidence to deliver under pressure
- Comfort working with and influencing a wide range of people

The role is full-time and based at our easyJet holidays HQ near Luton Airport. We operate a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the office.
