About the Role
At EY, we empower you to shape your future with confidence. This role sits within EY’s Global Tax Centre of Excellence Data & AI team, driving transformative technology initiatives through data architecture, AI, and agentic workflows.
You’ll design and architect advance tax workflows—leveraging AI-ready data products and robust data engineering—to boost scalability, reusability, and cross-market consistency for EY’s Tax Technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
🏆 Core Focus Areas
Ensures trusted, scalable, and AI-optimised data feedsystem, agent alignment, and governance for tax processes.

Agentic Workflow & AI Design
- Develop data-driven agentic workflows with:
- Task-specific agent roles and agent-to-agent communication patterns
- Human-in-the-loop monitoring, escalation models, feedback loops, and performance evaluations
- Lean-derived task definitions and reusable agent blueprints
- Cutting-edge agent orchestrative methodologies (e.g., LLM agents, Codex, Factory AI, GitHub Copilot)

- Develop data-driven agentic workflows with:

Data Architecture & AI-Ready Data Products
- Design tax CapEx data marts with:
- Granular tax data exposure (optimised for reasoning: deterministic/probabilistic)
- Immutable data lineage and quality control
- Oversee ingestion, filtering, and transformation from:
- ERP systems
- Tax platforms
- Unsemi-structured documents & external data sources

- Integration with client-governed tech stacks (e.g., Microsoft Agent 365)

- Architect cross-work environment deployments:
- Within client environments (e.g., ServiceNow agent workflows)
- On EY-hosted platforms as reusable code

CoE & Asset Development
- Be the technical authority within Centre of Excellence:
- Craft proof-of-concepts and disparate pill designs
- Push innovative reference architectures for pilot-pushed functions
- Be the technical authority within Centre of Excellence:
Required Experience & Background
Strong Foundation in Technical and Leadership Roles
- Demonstrated 15+ years across data science skills, including:
- SQL know-how + deep database design experience
- Hands-on ETL design—operations on mid/high scale data
- Entangled Cloud sprawl—experience shaping:
- Azure ML, Databricks, MLflow, LangChain/LangGraph
- Advanced LLM agent systems (ML factories, GPT-3/4)
