Data & AI Operating Director

London or Paris

Our client is a leading European private equity investor with a multi-billion-euro portfolio focused on Software & Technology, Business Services and Healthcare.

As part of its high-performing Digital Operations team, the firm partners directly with portfolio company CEOs and executive teams to accelerate growth, improve productivity and create measurable value through AI, data and technology transformation.

This is not a traditional advisory or consulting role. You will own outcomes, working alongside portfolio company leadership to scope, execute and embed AI transformation that delivers lasting commercial impact.

The Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to work across a portfolio of high-growth businesses, helping leadership teams unlock value through AI, automation and modern data capabilities.

You'll be embedded within portfolio companies, typically spending around two days per week on-site, partnering with CEOs, CIOs, CTOs and engineering teams to identify opportunities, build execution plans and ensure delivery through to measurable business outcomes.

The role combines technical credibility, operational leadership and commercial thinking, making it ideal for someone who enjoys moving between businesses, solving complex challenges and creating sustainable change.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
