Data & Analytics Intern – Finance | Manchester

Join Global Finance Services, our finance shared services team, in Manchester and help transform how data drives decision-making across a global organisation. This role sits within our finance function and will support teams across Order to Cash (OTC), Procure to Pay (PTP), and Record to Report (RTR) by delivering high-quality data analysis, reporting, and insights. You'll play a key role in helping improve data visibility, accuracy, and decision-making across the department.

You'll gain exposure to large, complex datasets and play a key role in improving how finance operates at scale. It is an excellent opportunity for a student looking to apply data skills in a real-world finance environment within a fast-paced, global organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Collate and clean datasets from internal and external sources
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards
  • Conduct exploratory analysis to surface trends and insights
  • Support presentation of findings to internal stakeholders
  • Document data processes and methodologies

What you'll gain

  • Hands-on experience working with enterprise finance systems and real-world business data
  • The opportunity to build dashboards and analysis used by finance leaders
  • Exposure to end-to-end finance operations in a global organisation
  • Experience identifying and delivering process improvements with measurable impact
  • Mentorship from experienced professionals across finance and data analytics
  • A strong foundation for a future career in data, analytics, or finance

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
