Data and Digital Skills & Support Development Consultant - Remote

Development Consultant – Data & Digital Skills

We are seeking Development Consultants to collaborate with City & Guilds while maintaining your current employment, offering flexible hourly rates and opportunities to grow your expertise.

This wide-ranging role allows you to contribute to qualification and assessment development across multiple aspects, including:

  • Scoping qualification content (e.g., structures, rules of combination, assessment design)
  • Writing and drafting unit content, assessments, and sample materials (e.g., multiple-choice questions, knowledge tests, practical assessments, portfolios)
  • Reviewing and amending assessments through panels or as a scrutiny expert
  • Aligning content with qualified standards and other frameworks

Person Specification & Key Requirements

We are looking for applicants with experience in:

  • Data and digital analysis

    • Preparing, analysing, interpreting, and presenting data to support decision-making
    • Applying security protocols and identifying cybersecurity risks
  • Digital systems and solutions

    • Configuring and assuring readiness of digital platforms for users
    • Designing bespoke digital solutions to meet defined needs

Development work is flexible, dependent on dynamic project requirements. Specific tasks and timelines will be clarified post-selection.
