Data and Exams Administrator – Part-time, Term-time Role (25 Hours/week) Ratton School, Eastbourne, East Sussex
About the Role
We are seeking a Data and Exams Administrator to provide essential administrative support to the School Systems, Data and Timetabling Manager and assist the Exams Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of internal and external examinations. This role requires exceptional organisation, communication, and attention to detail, with a commitment to flexibility—including availability for one week in August during exams processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Data and Timetabling Manager with administrative duties including:
- Scholarship applications
- Data management and compliance (Ofsted Data Collection)
- SIMS (school management system) queries and updates
- Timetabling coordination
- Work closely with the Exams Manager to:
- Process and distribute examination materials
- Coordinate internal/external exam logistics
- Support results download, processing, and publication (including the August results week)
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for exams and student data
- Offer general administrative assistance to the enablement and safeguarding team

Job Specifications
- Grade: SS4 (Points 9–10)
- Salary: £15,077.39 gross per annum (pro-rated hourly rate of £1,256.45/month)
- Hours: 25 hours/week during term time plus one additional week in August
- Contract: Permanent with holiday pay entitlement
- Working pattern: Part-time, term-time only

Key Requirements
While specific qualifications are not mandatory, applicants must:
